Refund Policy

If you are a client

When you pay for a session, a class, a pass or a monthly plan in Base Form, you are paying your trainer. Your trainer sets their own cancellation, no-show and refund rules, and decides on refunds. Ask them first.

If you can’t reach your trainer, or you think a charge is wrong, email support@baseform.coach with the date and amount and we will help you get it resolved.

Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund a period that has already started unless your trainer chooses to.

If you are a trainer

On standard pricing, signing up is free and Base Form’s fee comes out of client payments, so there is no subscription to refund. You can refund a paid booking from your schedule, and the money goes back to the client’s card from your Stripe account.

Founding plan. New trials require a card and include 30 free days after card confirmation. Then Stripe automatically charges $99/month unless you cancel before the first charge date shown at checkout. Existing no-card trials do not convert to paid automatically. Cancel any time from Billing: you keep access through your free trial or the month you have paid for, and that month is not refunded. If you were charged by mistake, email support@baseform.coach and we will refund it.

Client slots. Slots you cancel end at the close of the billing period and are not refunded for the part already started. If your Base Form fees and slots together came to more than the monthly maximum, the difference is refunded automatically after the month closes.

• Full refund: Base Form’s fee on that payment is returned to you as well.
• Partial refund: the same share of Base Form’s fee is returned. Refund half the payment and half the fee comes back.
• Stripe’s own processing fees follow Stripe’s rules and are generally not returned by Stripe on refunds.

If you think Base Form charged a fee in error, email support@baseform.coach within 60 days and we will look into it and correct any mistake.

Disputes and chargebacks

Client payments are made on the trainer’s own Stripe account, so the trainer is the merchant. If a client disputes a payment with their bank, Stripe holds the amount and its dispute fee from the trainer’s Stripe balance until the bank decides, and the trainer responds from their Stripe dashboard. Base Form tells the trainer as soon as Stripe does. Please try to resolve problems directly first. It is faster for everyone.
